For July i went once again out to the Bay of Fundy for some sea kayaking and hiking with Outward Bound Canada (click here for album)

A month on Vancouver Island

So i worked some outdoor education contracts and then decided to go out to BC. Do some paddling, adventuring and get my level 2 BC sea kayak guide cert. I met up with my friend Matiss and we had a great adventure. We did some work for Go with the flow adventures, did a 5 day kayak trip around northern Quadra Island to Cortes Island. Met a Whaletown Dave, went sailing around Desolation Sound then i went off to Victoria and took my guide exam (click photos for full album).

Futaleufu & Futa Fest

So when i returned to the Aysen there was a big protest going on and i had to leave, all roads were shut down and there was no gasoline available so my only option was to hitch back into Argentina and i met a dutch couple and an israeli who squeezed me in and took me to Esquel where i made it to the town of Futaleufu in time for the Futa Fest (click for photos)

I stayed here for a little while after with a nice Argentinian couple i met through couchsurfing and had the opportunity to go rafting and on a kayak trip from Futa to the ocean with Expediciones Chile.
