So i had a little time on my hands with no place to live lined up and no real plans… I saw a post in the ride share group on http://www.couchsurfing.org from someone looking for crew to help sail his 36ft ketch sailboat from Buffalo New York to Nova Scotia (or as far as we could make it). I thought it was a great opportunity so i hoped on board. Here are some pictures… (click this preview to be able to view all 210 pictures)

The paddling and sailing pictures glitter and capture interesting information about the trip. I saw your post in CS and am inspired by your life adventures.
North Texans at sea? we got to get a page I have been on my Robb Yawl 35′ for going on two years now I bought her in Detroit sailed her down to Cleveland, then trucked Turandot to Norfolk, VA. I introduced Turandot to salt water after giving her a new bottom job, she has never seen saltwater in her 47 years or rot of any kind, she has had a pampered life in the lakes. I am planning on heading towards Costa Rica for the winter but I do take my time since I sail singlehanded. I am from Lewisville, Texas. I am currently on Chesapeake Bay in Poquoson, VA, on Turandot, “Google her (Turandot-Yawl) click the first Robb yawl 1963 and that is her pictures. I opted out of sailing the Welland Canal, due to my lack of registration on my new boat with Canada, thus reason for trucking her. Please keep me up dated on your travels and I will mine as well. Sincerely yours Myron Babler.
